Akhil Bharatiya Kshatriya Maha Sabha celebrates 125th foundation day

JAMMU, Oct 19: A large congregation of Akhil Bharatiya Kshatriya Maha Sabha to celebrate 125th foundation day of the Maha Sabha was held at Dogra Sadar Sabha, Sabha Bhawan, Jammu today.
A large number of delegates from different states of the country participated in the event which was presided over by the National President of Akhil Bharatiya Kshatriya Maha Sabha, Dinesh Pratap Singh.
The congregation was addressed by various delegates who highlighted the activities and achievements of their respective units in their States and offered their services for the welfare of community members in Jammu and Kashmir.
The speakers specially stressed upon the need for increased interaction and unity of all Kshatriyas in the Country.
Members paid homage to the martyrs of security forces who are sacrificing their lives for the safety and integrity of the nation in the war against militancy in J&K and urge the govt to provide financial security to the families of martyrs.
The Kshatriya youth pledge to offer their services for the National integrity in whatever manner Govt. decides to use their services.
Members also resolved to step up efforts to bring more cohesion and unity amongst all Kshatriyas at the National level and to preserve culture and heritage of the community and renovate and maintain heritage sites such as Mubarak Mandi Complex and forts in J&K right upto Ladakh.
Members demanded to award Bharat Ratna to Late Maharaja Hari Singh who integrated the large independent State of Jammu and Kashmir with the Indian Union.
Reservations for Kshatriya Samaj on economic basis, creation of Rajput Welfare Board in J&K like in Himachal Pradesh and Punjab besides urging the Union Home Minister and the Lt Governor J&K to grant opportunity for a meeting with the representatives of Akhil Bharatiya Kshatriya Maha Sabha were the other resolutions passed on the occasion.
The prominent members/delegates who attend the event includes Ravi Singh Slathia (President J&K Unit), Dr. Harendra Rana (National Gen. Sec.), Satpal Chouhan (President, Haryana), Amrik Singh (Gen. Sec., State Unit) and several others.
