| BJP opens its election office at Gandhinagar | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
JAMMU, Nov 6: BJP State President Ashok Khajuria, accompanied by former Union Minister of state Prof. Chaman Lal Gupta and member National Executive and party candidate from Gandhi Nagar Assembly Constituency Dr. Nirmal Singh, today inaugurated party’s office for the ensuing elections in Green Belt Park area of Gandhi Nagar.
Prior to cutting the formal ribbon, havan was performed in the premises of the new office complex.
The party leaders, on this occasion, asked the party cadres to reach every nook and corner of the Gandhi Nagar constituency, make people aware of the anti-people and anti-Jammu policies adopted by the successive governments in the state. They also asked them to expose the Jammu-based leaders of the Congress, NC and PDP for their role during the 2-month long massive agitation. The party leaders expressed hope that the people will vote in favour of the party candidates.
Several other party leading including JMC Mayor, Kavinder Gupta and Choudhary Piara Singh were also present on the occasion. |
