Give befitting reply to terrorists: Fleeing labourers to Govt
10/24/2021 11:44:26 PM

Early Times Report

Jammu, Oct 24: The non-local labourers who have fled from Kashmir and are camping in Jammu have no complaints about the people in the Valley but want the government to give a befitting reply to the terrorists and their handlers.
Non-local labourers while talking to a news channel said that they have no-complaints with the people of the Valley but the militants and their bosses should be dealt with an iron hand. “Every year thousands of non-local labourers reach Kashmir to earn some money by doing menial jobs. Many of us have been visiting Kashmir for the past so many years but we have never felt insecure. But this time we were terrified as the target killings of non-locals were carried,” they added.
The labourers said, “We visit Kashmir to feed our families and have nothing to do with politics. Despite that we were targeted. We are not sure whether we will return to Kashmir again or not. The government needs to first make the situation conducive, then only we can return.”
The returnees who were provided accommodation in a school near Jammu Railway Station said that they are waiting to board the trains to reach their destinations.
