LFO-BHF celebrates Diwali with underprivileged | | | Early Times Report JAMMU, Nov 3: On the eve of Diwali Festival, "Live For Others-Being Helpful Foundation (LFO-BHF)" conducted another project named "Diwali Khushion Aur Mithas Ki" today. In this project, volunteers celebrated Diwali Festival with unprivileged sections in Bahu Fort area. Before initiating this project, volunteers sought blessings of "Kali Mata" and then distributed sweets, juices and biscuits among the needy ones around there and wished them a very Happy Diwali. Around 200 kits were distributed which include sweets, biscuits and juice. They also encouraged people to buy Diwali stuffs from road side street vendors, so that they can also celebrate Diwali with their families happily. It was yet another initiative by the organization for ensuring the welfare of lower sections of society. Speaking on the occasion, Vivek Parihar and Vishal Singh (Directors of LFO-BHF) jointly said, "LFO-BH FOUNDATION wishes everyone a very Happy Diwali. We wish you all happiness, luck and success in life. The volunteers and members of our NGO celebrated Diwali by distributing sweets and other eatable items among the poor and needy children. Our organization looks forward to work for the betterment of these underprivileged sections of society. It feels great to support such a noble cause." Also, Robin Singh (Vice President (Jammu Province) of LFO-BHF) said, "Let us also remember to share our happiness and good fortune with those who are less fortunate than us. Let us come together to spread happiness and joy in the lives of impoverished segment of society." The other volunteers who mark their presence in this noble cause were Abhinandan Sharma, Stuti Sharma, Jyoti Sharma, Shubham Verma, Aditya Singh, Mandeep, Sahil Choudhary and many more. |
