 JAMMU, Nov 8: Continuing his endeavour to provide more development amenities to the people of Jammu, Mayor JMC Chander Mohan Gupta Mayor along with Deputy Mayor Purnima Sharma today on inaugurated a well furnished and beautiful Vatika by upgrading the already existing one just in front of Hari Palace Hotel on main road opposite Manda. Councillor of Ward No 9 Suneet Kumar Raina, Councillor of Ward No 18 Dinesh Gupta, Booth Presidents of Ward No 9 Amit Singh, Neeraj Katoch, Tahir, Shakher Soni, Deepak Kumar, Madan Lal and other prominent inhabitants Kuldeep Mahajan, Sanjay Sharma, Raghunandan, Mitu Kumar as well as Anil Kumar Gupta Executive Engineer Project Division, Raman Kapahi Assistant Executive Engineer (Project Division) & other supervisory staff of Health Section of JMC were also remained present there during the inauguration function. Speaking on the occasion, Mayor told that large number of senior citizens as well as general public passes through the area for morning/evening walk on daily basis and in rainy days as well as during scorching warm weather they were facing great hardships due to non availability of proper shed/ sitting arrangements in the area and in order to provide relief to them, the concerned Councillor has taken a keen interest by developing a well furnished Vatika by way of constructing a canopy in the centre, installing benches for sitting purpose & other. |
