| Reasi Badminton Championship concludes | | |  Early Times Report
REASI, Nov 9: Three days district Reasi Badminton Championship concluded here today at the indoor stadium Maari. Shailender Singh, Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Reasi was chief guest at the final match. 85 players from different parts of Reasi & coaches participated. Shivam Gupta and Sunit Sharma played final for men's singles in which Shivam stood as Winner; Abinav Sharma, Ankush Sharma and Shivam Gupta, Sunit Sharma played final match for men's doubles in which Shivam and Sunit became Champions. The winners of the event shall participate in the UT Championship.
Speaking on the occasion the SSP conveyed that Jammu and Kashmir Police is organizing such events under Civic Action Programme of J&K Police with the aim to provide platform for the youth so that they can show their hidden talent and youth of J&K have been taking the benefits of these activities organized by Jammu Kashmir Police from time to time. |
