State of art PHCs coming up at Dhoomi, Barn: Bharat Bhushan

JAMMU, Nov 10: The government is keen to provide all the basic amenities to people at their doorsteps and for this every possible step is being taken. This was stated by DDC Chairman, Jammu, Bharat Bhushan Bodhi during a visit to Kot area of Bhawal Block.
The DDC Chairman visited the Dhoomi and Barn localities to inspect the land identified for establishment of new type of primary health centres (PHCs). The DDC Chairman said that soon the people in Barn and Dhoomi will have two state of the art PHCs to provide timely healthcare to people living in the vicinities of these areas. He said that the government is abreast with the fact that the tertiary care hospitals are overcrowded and therefore the helmsmen at all levels are envisaging that basic healthcare facilities are made available at the primary level healthcare centres.
He said that the government led by Prime Minister Narendra Modi at the centre has given special directions to the concerned quarters to make primary and secondary healthcare edifice self-sufficient in the UT so that not even a single person has to suffer for the want of such services. He inaugurated an awareness camp under the title, "Apni Zameen Apni Nigrani" at Kot I Bhalwal area of Jammu. The camp was organized to sensitize people to keep a vigil against the land mafia to save government land from encroachment.
