JD (U) launches membership drive in Jagti camp | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
JAMMU, Nov 14: JD (U) held outreach programme to masses in Jagti today in Displaced Kashmiri Pandits on the directions of GM Shaheen. The leaders who were present are State General Secretary Sanjay Dhar, Vivek Bali Secretary J&K, Gohar Wani State Spokesperson and PL Pandita Chairman Migrants J&K living here to hear and mitigate their genuine problems in exile. Under such usual initiative an outreach and membership drive programme was organized by JD (U) Displaced Migrants at Jagti in which newly appointed President Migrants Jammu Raj Kumar Ticku, Prem Lata Bhat President Women’s wing Migrants Jammu and Sumit Bhat Youth President Displaced migrants Jammu respectively graced the programme with their participation. They were given a rousing reception on their arrival and were felicitated with garlands on the occasion. While addressing the meeting Sanjay Dhar, reiterated Party's stand on restoration of statehood and assured migrants living in exile anywhere that solution of their day to day problems is and was always the priority of Janta Dal United. Vivek Bali appealed Kashmiri Pandits to come forward and strengthen the hands of JD (U) as this is the only party who does politics of truthfulness, transparency and honesty and is all out for this hapless community. PL Pandita Chairman migrants J&K assured the party senior leadership, who reposed faith in him, for leading displaced migrants and will leave no stone unturned in projecting and highlighting their genuine issues with the authorities till they are resolved. |
