Jammu, Nov 14: A jawan of Central Reserve Police Force died of suspected cardiac arrest, when he was about to board a train for New Delhi from Jammu Tawi Railway Station, police said. Police on Sunday said that Head Constable Ram Kumar Kaushik, resident of Samaypur, Badli, New Delhi, who was transferred and posted in the national capital, was boarding a train on Saturday night at platform 2 of Jammu Tawi Railway Station. He suddenly fell unconscious at the platform and the locals informed the police,? they said. He was shifted to the hospital, but declared dead. The Constable is suspected to have died of cardiac arrest, police said, adding that the exact cause of his death will be ascertained after the post-mortem. |
