JAMMU, Nov 14: On the 132nd birthday anniversary of Jawaharlal Nehru, the first prime minister of independent India, Pandit Pawan Raina Secretary PCC J&K while paying rich tributes said he was one of the leading figures in the country’s anti-colonial struggle. Nehru expanded his vision and direction due to which big dams, PSUs, Banks, Institution’s like AIIMS, ISRO, IIT, IIM and DRDO established to make India prosperous on line of Modern World. Raina added Nehru was fondly called ‘Chacha Nehru’ and was known for emphasizing the importance of giving love and affection to children. He distributed notebooks, pens and fruits among children. On the juncture Panch Hari Chand, Congress Youth leader Kushwant Singh, Tuifal Hussain, Ashok Kumar, Suresh Kumar among other present. |
