| Narcotic smuggler nabs with 10 grams of heroin | | |

POONCH, Nov 28: Police has arrested a narcotics smuggler from Suka Katha area here and recovered 10 grams of contraband heroin like substance from his possession .The person has been identified as Mohammad Imtiaz son of Jamal Din resident of Mohalla Sarai, city Poonch.
A police party under the supervision SSP Poonch headed by SHO Poonch SD Singh arrested the person and seized 10 grams heroin like substance from his possession. In this connection a case under FIR number 296/2021 under section 8/21/22 of NDPS Act has been registered in police station Poonch and further investigation has been initiated, a police sources informed Early Times.
The efficiency of the police team has been appreciated by Poonch public. Javid Reshi, a local in this regard said that Poonch police is doing best to make Poonch town free from evils. He appealed to Police officials to hold awareness camps for the youth. |
