| Driver dies, vehicle plunges into gorge in Kashmir | | |

Srinagar, Nov 28: A 38-year-old driver died on Sunday when his vehicle skidded off the road and plunged into a deep gorge at Sumbal in central Kashmir district of Ganderba, traffic official said.
They said a tipper driver identified as Javid Ahmad Baba died on the spot when his vehicle skidded off the road after he lost control over it at Sumbal Bala Gund in Kangan area of Ganderbal and rolled down into a deep gorge. The body of the deceased has been retrieved and police have registered a case in this regard. |
