JAMMU, Nov 28: A monthly meeting was organized by Jammu and Kashmir Disabled Welfare Trust (JKDWT) in Khour today under the chairmanship of Khour President of the organization, Tarsem Lal, in which dozens of specially abled people participated. During the meeting, people presented their concerns to the chairman of the trust, Sushil Sharma, who listened to everyone's problems and assured everyone that soon all their demands would reach the Lieutenant Governor so that they could be redressed.
In his address, Sushil Sharma appealed to all the specially abled to come to the Indoor Sports Stadium Complex of Akhnoor on the occasion of World Disability Day on December 3.
He informed that the Trust is making constant efforts to raise the main demands of the Disables, including the issue of AAY ration cards to all the Disables and to increase their Pension from 1000 to 3000.
In the meeting, the President of the Trust Sham Lal and Secretary of the Trust Vakil Chand were also present. |
