JAMMU, Nov 30: Rahul Sahai, Chairman, PHD Chamber Of Commerce & Industry Jammu led a delegation to submit memorandum to Mona Singh, Principal Commissioner of Income Tax, Jammu and Mahesh Kumar Rustogi, Principal Commissioner, CGST in an out-reach programme.
The delegation said that technical glitches still persist on new IT portal. The delegation said that relief measures for the registered persons who could not file their GST Returns during COVID period and thereafter, reduction of late fee was notified. The delegation suggested CGST reimbursement for hospitality sector like that of manufacturing units. The delegation said that with the introduction of GST, Handicrafts (including carpet) and Handloom & Dry fruits have suffered a lot. It was requested that these sectors reimbursed for GST.
