| JKSPYM celebrates World AIDS Day | | |  EARLY TIMES REPORT
JAMMU, Nov 30: JKSPYM, an NGO working in the field of Health and Development, today celebrated World AIDS Day.
On this occasion, poster making and rangoli making competitions were organized by JKSPYM with the students of BR College of Paramedical Sciences and Nursing, Gangyal Jammu on the topic of AIDS.
About 60 to 70 students of Nursing participated in the competition. JKSPYM distributes IEC materials on HIV/AIDS and refreshment to students. Students also presented Nukkad Natak on prevention from HIV /AIDS.
All the students very enthusiastically participated in the poster making competition and asked various questions on HIV/AIDS and related issues. Principal, BR College of Paramedical Sciences and Nursing, Afsal Ahammed Kunju presided over the prize distribution ceremony.
Paramveer Kour, GNM third year student got the first prize, Balwinder Kour, GNM third year student got the 2nd prize and Gurjeet Kour GNM second year got the third prize. All the staff members of JKSPYM were present on the occasion.
JKSPYM expressed gratitude to the College Principal, Afsal Ahammed Kunju and all the staff members for their cooperation.
