| Include pensioners of JKUT in Accidental Insurance scheme: JKSTWS | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
JAMMU, Nov 30: Pleading for the cause of JKUT pensioners, DC (retd) State Taxes Vijay Sharma appealed to the Lt Governor Manoj Sinha to consider inclusion of pensioners of JKUT enblock in Accidental Insurance scheme launched by the Government.
The government in its announcement has directed that all JKUT employees would be covered under Accidental insurance scheme of Rs 10 lakh with annual premium of Rs 346. Sharma has been of the view that the benefit of this scheme should therefore be extended to pensioners of JKUT also on optional basis if not on regular basis. |
