| Plastic factory gutted by fire in Pulwama | | | Early Times Report
Srinagar, Nov 30 : A plastic factory was gutted in a devastating fire at Industrial area of Lassipora in south Kashmir district of Pulwama on Tuesday,
Fire and Emergency services said, fire broke out at around 9 pm on Monday in "Stalwart Plastics" factory at Small Industrial Development Corporation (SIDCO) at Lassipora in Pulwam district and spread quickly into the entire complex.
They said it took fire fighters two hours to douse the blaze. However, no loss of life was reported. The cause of fire was stated to be electrical short circuit, as per the Fire and Emergency Service.
They said the loss to the factory is around Rs 10 lakh. The fire tenders from the nearby army camp were also pressed into the service to douse the flames. |
