JAMMU, Nov 30: Janta Dal (united) UT General Secretary Sanjay Dhar, Vivek Bali Secretary J&K, Piaray Lal Pandita Chairman Migrants J&K and spokesperson Gohar Wani today called on Commissioner Secretary DMRRR to highlight genuine problems being faced by migrants at Jammu & Kashmir divisions for their early amelioration. In a statement, the spokesman said that senior leaders discussed with the Commissioner Secretary DMRRR, the problems of Kashmiri migrants being faced by these people both at Jammu and as well as in Kashmir. The leaders raised the issue of repair and renovation of internally dilapidated migrant quarters of Jammu, regular supply of water in TRT Nagrota, regular supply of pure drinking water in all camps of Jammu and Kashmir, construction of boundary wall in Natnusa camp Baramulla, proper drainage system in all J&K migrant camps, adequate accommodation for those PM package employees working in valley who live on rent basis, construction of pending PM package quarters in valley on war footing basis, setting up of first aid centers and ration stores in all transit camps of Kashmir. The leaders demanded issuance of appointment orders at an earliest regarding PM package for fresh selected Class IV employees. They also demanded one room quarters at Purkhoo, Yoga/skill development centers at Jagti, enhancement of monthly cash assistance of Kashmiri migrants from Rs. 13,000 to Rs. 25,000/ per month, regular supply of ration in transit camps of Kashmir etc. |
