| Tajinder expresses concern over POJK DP's issues | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Dec 1: Social Political Activist Sardar Tajinder Singh put his concern over the dilapidated position of 1947 POJK Refugees which are still running for their rights since the migration of 1947. Singh said POJK Refugees came to this side of Jammu and Kashmir with empty hands and barefooted, suffered untold sufferings and injustice at the hands of earlier state and central dispensations. Tajinder said that Central Government must implement a rehabilitation policy of 1947 Refugees, particularly compensation for their left out properties (unregistered), employment package, reservation for the students in every University and Colleges in Jammu and Kashmir and all over India,and strict implementation of Agragarian Reforms,Act in respect of Dps of 1947.
Tajinder Singh said that Govt.of India must take steps for the rehabilitation case of 1947 Refugees on the basis of JPC report where in Rs 30 lakh of ex-gratia relief has been recommended for each DP's and comprehensive employment package.
