Jammu, Dec 1: The NSS unit of Govt. Degree College, R. S. Pura inaugurated Clean India Program w.e.f. 1st December to 31st December, 2021 under the banner of Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav.
The program was inaugurated with a motivational lecture by Principal of the college, Prof. Sunil Uppal. He interacted with the volunteers and encouraged them to actively participate in this clean India program and he further highlighted the importance of cleaning our villages, towns and water bodies. Afterwards the volunteers undertook the cleanliness drive in the village Dangrey, R. S. Pura where they cleaned the streets and pathways of the village and premises of Govt. Primary School Dangrey.
The work of NSS volunteers was appreciated by Shushank Rattan, Panch of the village. The entire program was supervised by Prof. Bindu Kumari, NSS Program Officer and Prof. Sukhwinder Kaur. |
