| Kundal asks for vesting ownership right to occupants of state land | | |  Early Times Report
VIJAYPUR, Dec 6: Former minister Yash Pal Kundal organized a meeting at Swankha Morh in which the farmers, delegates and workers of JKNPP take participation. The farmers apprised that the government of J&K has launched a drive to retrieve the state land from illegal occupants. The delegates and workers also discuss the various issues regarding the forthcoming assembly election.
Kundal hoped that the assembly election may be held in the next year after the completion of delimitation process. He urged the government not to retrieve the state land from the farmers which have been provided by previous government under Roshni Act. He said that it was right step for retrieving the state land from land mafia those have managed and get allotted a big chunk of state land. He said that government should provide the ownership rights of the state land to the occupants who have broken the gairmumkin banjar land. |
