Shiksha Niketan celebrates Christmas with fervor

Jammu, Dec 23: Shiksha Niketan Sr. Sec. School, Jeevan Nagar-Jammu organized the “Christmas Carnival” with an enthusiastic zeal in its premises today. The event was graced by the “Esteemed Presence” of Fr. Aruel Nirmal (Father of St. Mary’s Garrison Chruch), who blessed the students on this auspicious occasion.
Amarjeet Singh adorned the event as a “Special Guest”.
The programme started with the performance of “Carol Singing” along with the “Cake-Cutting” by the Guests, Dignitaries and the Principal of the Institution, Rameshwar Mengi.
The whole school was decorated with beautiful handmade decorating materials. The colourful bells, stars, buntings and brightly decorated “Christmas Tree” adorned the stage. After the performance of prayers, the audience was told about the birth of Lord Jesus Christ and his divine teachings of love, compassion and universal brotherhood.
The performing teachers and the students (of class 10th and 12th) were in colourful dresses and their performance of various “Artistic Activities” added to the festive mood of all present there. The guests and others present there appreciated the lively performances of the teachers and the students.
Principal, Rameshwar Mengi thanked all the esteemed guests for sparing their precious time to grace the occasion with their honoured presence.
