JAMMU, Dec 30: Chairperson Women Club Meri Pehchaan (WCMP) Sandhya Gupta meets the brave warriors who made great sacrifices for the country during the Kargil war.
Speaking during the occasion, Chairperson Sandhya Gupta said that today she met brave warriors of the country who made great sacrifices for the country during the Kargil war.
She said that Deep Chand Fauji is a Kargil war warrior who fought the enemy bravely for the nation and for our safety during the Kargil war. He sacrificed both his legs and a hand during the war and Shaurya Chakra Madhu Sudan took eleven enemy bullets and sacrificed his leg during the war.
She further said that once a soldier is martyred in battle his fight ends but when a soldier is disabled due the battle, his daily life becomes a constant war but even after losing their hands and legs in the war, both these brave warriors still live with great hope and zeal which cannott be compared.
She further added that people visit religious places to find and get inner peace but for her, visiting and getting a chance to meet the brave warriors who sacrificed their everything for the nation and for the people of the nation gives inner peace.
She further appealed to the general public that they should always remember the brave warriors.
