| ADDC reviews COVID containment measures in District Hospital | | | Early Times Report
KISHTWAR, Jan 7: Additional District Development Commissioner, Kishtwar Sham Lal today reviewed the COVID mitigation measures in the district hospital during an inspection. He was accompanied by Medical Superintendent, Dr Parveez Iqbal Wani, Deputy CMO , Dr. Balbir Singh , Account Officer, DC office, Imran Ahmed Kichloo, Secretary District Red Cross Society Asgar Ali Sheikh besides concerned medical officers and officials.
During the visit, the ADDC inspected the COVID care centre established in the district Hospital and reviewed the arrangements put in for the effective management of the COVID positive patients. He inspected 17 bedded COVID-ICU and inquired about availability of Oxygen and stock and supply position of medicines to deal with any unprecedented situation. He also checked the attendance registers and directed the concerned to display the duty roster of officials on the notice board and said that any kind of laxity shall not be tolerated. Meanwhile, free face masks were distributed among the patients and their attendants by the Red Cross society. |
