| Workshops conducted by SCERT Divisional Office Jammu conclude | | | Early Times Report
JAMMU, Jan 7: SCERT J&K Divisional Office Jammu organized workshops on capacity building programme on content enrichment in Social Sciences & Hindi for elementary and secondary level for key resource persons for Jammu, Kathua, Reasi, Samba and Udhampur districts. The workshop commenced under the guidance of Director SCERT J&K, Prof. Veena Pandita.
In the valedictory ceremony, Surinder Kumar, Joint Director, SCERT J&K Jammu Division, addressed the participants. Other dignitaries present were Associate Professor Kishore Kumar and senior academic officers Deepak Sharma & B D Sharma.
Surinder apprised the participants upon redefining the roles and responsibilities of teachers.
He stressed upon re-inclination towards enrichment of subject and to generate new ideas, innovations, improved practices and directed participants to pass on knowledge from training programme to field.
Kishore discussed about enrichment of literature from quantity to quality. Deepak said that such programmes improve range and competencies of the teachers. The programme concluded very smoothly in a congenial atmosphere. |
