| Deputy Mayor holds meeting about JMC building bye-laws | | |  Early Times Report
JAMMU, Jan 7: Deputy Mayor, JMC Advocate Purnima Sharma addressed a meeting with the Chief Town Planning, JMC Anil Raina, STP Harvinder Arora, along with Corporator Pawan Singh ward 23, Suneet Raina ward 9.
The Deputy Mayor held the meeting regarding JMC building bye-laws. She discussed with the officials all the points of bye-laws to make easy for the general public so that there are no more illegal constructions being constructed in the city and the building permissions should be obtained from JMC in a smooth way.
Main points of focus were to provide ease to the general public to get building permission to raise constructions in the old city area as it was previously very difficult to get the permission according to the norms. But now as the road with rider norm has been deferred in JMC building bye laws, and it will also benefits areas like Sanjay Nagar, Nai Basti and Digiana which are similar to old city areas as there is lane width relaxation for built up constructions of all wards. |
