Early Times Report
JAMMU, Jan 13: The Panthers Party workers belonging to various Districts of J&K today lodged FIRs at various Police Stations across the UT against BJP workers including Sanjay Gandotra, his wife Shalini Gandotra, Vishal Gupta and others for kidnapping and murderous assault on NPP Chairman in pursuance of a criminal conspiracy hatched at the behest of a particular political party. The party demanded immediate booking of the culprits and their co-conspirators in view of the massive outrage sparked in the wake of an audio released recently wherein the main accused Sanjay Gandotra has made a categorical admission of having abducted the NPP Chairman and abused and assaulted him.
He has further admitted that the main purpose of filing the frivolous complaint against the NPP Chairman was to prevent him from participating in elections.
The FIRs stated that an audio-clipping is doing rounds across the UT wherein one Sanjay Gandotra S/o TC Gandotra, R/o Sec-1 Trikuta Nagar is clearly heard making a confessional statement before his friends that he had assaulted, abused and manhandled the NPP Chairman. The said delinquent is categorically admitting that he along with his wife and one Vishal Gupta had physically assaulted Harsh Dev Singh and his wife and that they would do so in future also.
The words used by Sanjay Gandotra against Harsh Dev and his wife would shake the conscience of civil society and of the judiciary which too has been misled and taken for a ride by the said delinquent. Throughout the audio statement, Gandotra has used highly vituperative, calumnious, offensive and extremely derogatory language against Harsh Dev, his deceased mother, sisters and wife. He has further threatened to attack Harsh Dev in future as and when he gets a chance.
The statement of Sanjay Gandotra has sparked tension in the town and caused provocation against the rank and file of Panthers Party besides triggering outrage amongst the womenfolk in view of extremely vulgar language and filthy abuses hurled upon mothers, sisters and female gender.
It is therefore demanded that FIR against Sanjay Gandotra and co-conspirators and accomplices be registered forthwith besides initiating other criminal proceedings against the delinquent".
