Sunny, dry weather to continue in Kashmir | | | Early Times Report
Srinagar, Feb 13: Sunny pleasant weather continued in the Kashmir valley on Sunday even as the Meteorological Department forecast dry weather in the Union Territory on Monday. Sunny pleasant weather continued in the summer capital Srinagar, with maximum temperature recorded as 13 degree Celsius which was 3.9 degree Celsius above normal, while the minimum temperature was as low as minus 2.2 against the normal of 0.2 degree Celsius on Sunday. Gulmarg in north Kashmir recorded temperature as low of minus 7.8 degree Celsius on Sunday where as the maximum temperature was recorded at 5.7 degree Celsius which was 4.6 degree Celsius above normal during this period of the season. Tourist resort of Pahalgam in south Kashmir recorded a low of minus 6.3 degree Celsius on Sunday while the maximum temperature recorded there was 9.8 degree Celsius which was 3.4 degree Celsius above normal. Qazigund also in south Kashmir on the Srinagar-Jammu national highway recorded a low of minus 2.6 degree Celsius, Kokernag recorded a low of minus 1.9 degree Celsius and Kupwara minus 3.0 degree Celsius recorded on Sunday. |
