Purshotam Dadhichi urges youth to contribute to nation development | | | Early Times Report JAMMU, Mar 1: Final match of Dr Basheshar Dutt Sharma Memorial Cricket Tournament was played at High Secondary School in Pargwal area of Chhamb assembly constituency. Shri Sanatan Dharma Sabha Jammu and Kashmir President Purshottam Dadhichi was the chief guest and Mahant Bharat Priye Bairagi as the special guest in the ceremony of the tournament. Retired Director Health Ashok Sharma was also present. The final match was played between Bhalwal Bharath and Bantalab in which Bantalab's team won. Purshotam Dadhichi said that the purpose of this tournament is to create interest in sports among the youth so that they focus on sports and stay away from drugs. In Indian culture it is believed that if you protect the body then only the body protects you. Purushottam Dadhichi said that Dr Bashashar Dutt Sharma in whose name this tournament has been organized was born in Pargwal and dedicated his entire life to the people. Youth should take inspiration from his life. He said that winning and losing is a part of the game. All the players should participate in the games with high morale. He said that Mahant Bharat priye is working sincerely to keep the dear youth away from drugs. Sarpanch Ramswaroop Sharma, Sarpanch Bhupendra Singh, Kuljeet Singh, Girdhari Lal, Pawan Singh, Satpal Sharma were present on this occasion. |
