Jammu, Apr 12: A team of Central Bureau of Investigation on Tuesday arrested a police officer for demanding and accepting a bribe in Poonch district of Jammu and Kashmir.
“The Station House Officer of Police Station Loran in district Poonch was arrested today for accepting a bribe of Rs 10,000,” a CBI official said.
He said that Inspector Ved Prakash, a resident of Haripur village of RS Pura, has been arrested red handed while investigation is in progress. |
