| Youth Congress protests demolition | | |

NEW DELHI, Apr 21: Youth Congress activists on Thursday staged a protest near Union Urban Development Minister Hardeep Singh Puri's house against the demolition drive in Jahangirpuri and alleged that the BJP was suppressing the minorities. National Secretary Khushboo Sharma who led the protest said "the attack of bulldozer on our Constitutional ethic is unacceptable and we are protesting against the illegal vindictive politics of the BJP to suppress the minorities and poor in the country".
The protesters shouted slogans against the BJP and Minister Puti.
The police detained around 20-25 Youth Congress workers. |
