NASHIK, Apr 21: A 40-year-old woman was killed and her daughter seriously injured when a cooking gas cylinder exploded at Sarode Sankul in Satpur area in Maharashtra's Nashik district, police said on Thursday.
The incident occurred on Wednesday night when Archana Lalendra Singh (40) was cooking, injuring her and her daughter Astha Singh (16).
Both were rushed to a hospital. Archana Singh, who suffered 75 per cent burns, died even before she could be admitted in the hospital. |
