People continue to reel under sizzling hot days in Telangana | | | agencies HYDERABAD, Apr 21: People sweated through yet another sizzling hot day on Thursday in Telangana as temperatures remained notches above the normal in many parts of the state. High maximum and minimum temperatures coupled with hot winds are adding to the misery of the people ,while heatwave conditions prevailed in parts of the state including Adilabad, Nizamabad and Asifabad which recorded 45 degrees celsius on Wednesday.. The state capital on Wednesday registered 41.4 degree celsius, the highest during the current summer with the weatherman forecasting further increase in temperature in the city during the next few days. Most streets and shopping areas in Hyderabad, its environs and other towns in the state wore a deserted look during the day time as people are not venturing out due to scorching heat. The weather office, meanwhile, predicted light to moderate rain or showers at isolated places in the state during the next 48 hours. |
