Mother’s Day celebration in Sunrise Public School, Channi Himmat, Jammu. Syed Ghazal Shah was the Chief guest of the day.

Jammu, May 8: Sunrise Public School (an institute of education), a unit of Sunrise Educational Trust organized Mother’s Day celebration in the school. Syed Ghazal Shah, renowned Spoken English trainer, a motivational speaker and a Counsellor was the Chief Guest of the day. Minakshi Sharma, project coordinator, hosted the event.
The event was started by welcoming the respected chief guest, children and all the staff members and telling the students the importance of mother’s day.
Mother’s day is celebrated worldwide. It is a day when we recognize, acknowledge and appreciate the love, efforts, and sacrifices of our mother. It is a day of celebrating motherhood and telling them what big role they play in our lives.
They say “God could not be everywhere, and therefore He made mothers”.
Sunrise Public School celebrated this day by organizing card making competition on Mother’s day among the students, poems and dance performances. Shivani and Uttra recited poems on “Mother” or “Maa”. Tannu gave a dance performance. During the programme, Ghazal Shah delivered a motivational lecture to the students in which she inspired the children to learn English language. She also said that each and every person in this world can achieve whatever they want to. There is nothing impossible in this world do to, we just need to seek a right direct and work hard towards our goal. She also took a session with the teachers and the staff members and inspired them with her beautiful words.
. Rajesh Sharma, the founder of Sunrise Educational trust told Ghazal Shah about the School that it is providing free education, free books and free uniform to the under-privileged migrant children who come for studying in their school. He also shared that their team aims to open free residential school upto class 12th soon. Ghazal Shah appreciated the effort of each and every person and promised that she will visit the school in future as well and try to help the organization grow through her efforts also.
Lastly, the winners of card making competition were announced and appreciated with certificates. Other who were present during the program were Mamta Rani, Afshan Sanober, s Ruchi, Zuberia, Asha Rani, Neha Arora, Akash, Bal Krishan, Nishu Chouhan, s Pinky, s Reshma, Bhawana, Seema, Ankit and Kuldeep.
