Early Times Report JAMMU, May 10: In continuation to the 'Nasha Mukat Bharat Abhiyan' and to promote Duggar culture, Bhartiya Lok Sangeet Kala Sansthan (BLSKS) in collaboration with Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment, Government of India, Social Welfare Deptt, J&K Govt and Sangam Tru Art Production presented a mega cultural programme. The programme was held at Govt. Middle School, Old Janipur Jammu under BLSKS' 330th Tuesday Series. A Dogri Musical Play "Nashe Kola Bacho '' was also staged. A pledge was administered to more than 100 students and teachers by M.C Kotwal, Secretary of Bhartiya Lok Sangeet Kala Sansthan. A certificate of honor by the Ministry of Social Justice was given to the Principal of the host school. The programme was inaugurated by the Chief Guest Neelam Parihar, Principal, Government Middle School, Old Janipur. Among the Guest of Honors present were Deepak Kohli and Sonika Padha, senior teachers of the host school. The day is commemorated with the sole aim of rejuvenating the traditional, primitive folk, art and culture of Jammu and Kashmir region. |
