Early Times Report JAMMU, May 10: Several prominent workers from Janta Dal United joined the National Conference at Sher-e- Kashmir Bhavan, Jammu and pledged to strengthen the party at the grass root level. Rattan Lal Gupta welcoming the new entrants, hoped that they will join to mass outreach of the party in various parts of the segment, identify peoples' problems and seek their redressal at appropriate forums. Gupta described the joining of more and more public spirited persons into the National Conference as encouraging saying this is the only choice for them keeping in view the party's track record of public service and upholding the dignity of the people of all the regions of the Jammu and Kashmir. He said maintaining communal harmony and regional unity is a cherished agenda of the National Conference. Vijay Lochan welcomed the new entrants and hoped that with their joining the party will be further strengthened at the grass roots level. Those who joined with Nigesh Kumar, Vice President Janta Dal United included Jaswinder Kumar, Bishamber Dass, Rampal, Jagdish Kumar, Tirath Ram, Nasib Chand and others.
