| GDC Kalakote organizes Group Discussion on "Quality Education" | | |  Early Times Report
KALAKOTE, May 10: To commemorate Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav and EBSB, under the guidance of Principal Dr Romesh Kumar Gupta, GDC Kalakote organized a group discussion on the topic Quality Education under "Shikshit Bharat" programme where maximum participated. The programme commenced with the formal address by Priyanka Kumari, HOD Hindi where she highlighted the importance of quality education. She said that quality education is a basic human right and good education leads to good learning outcomes.
In this discussion four groups were made and the students shared their ideas, thoughts and feelings. They also discussed the loopholes in the education system and how quality education can be achieved.
Speaking on the occasion, Principal Dr Romesh Kumar Gupta said that quality education does not mean preparing the students for examinations only but also to prepare them for the future. It helps the students in acquiring knowledge without any fear, helping them to reduce inequalities and is crucial to fostering tolerance and more peaceful societies. All the faculty members were present in the programme. In the end vote of thanks was given by Dr Tariq Rashid Wani. |
