AP Youth Wing holds threadbare discussion on increasing unemployment | | | Early Times Report JAMMU, May 11: Apni Party Youth Wing has condemned disengagement of the NHM employees especially in view of the critical situation of declining employment in Jammu and Kashmir. The appeal was made during a meeting which was called by State General Secretary Youth Wing Abhay Bakaya and State Coordinator Youth Wing, Sunny Kant Chib, Provincial President Jammu, Youth Wing, Vipul Bali among others. During the meeting, the Youth Wing leaders discussed various issues being faced by the unemployed educated youth and the NHM employees. "The unemployment has touched new heights in J&K breaking all previous records. The Govt seems unable to handle the situation and the bureaucracy has no plans to generate employment opportunities," he said. He said that "The Govt should refer all the vacant posts to the recruitment agency and the recruitment process should be conducted on fast track." He also referred towards the self-employment generation and support to the start-ups in J&K by the Govt in guidance besides extending them financial support. Meanwhile, State Coordinator Youth Wing Sunny Kant Chib said that the NHM employees are being discriminated against by the Govt by not continuing their services in the health department. "They have performed in the covid19 situation in J&K by putting their lives at risk of deadly virus. Yet the Govt has disengaged them and did nothing to continue their services," he said. He said that the "Youth Wing of Apni Party supports their demand for regularization and continuation in the service." He also highlighted issues being faced by the NHM employees who have been made jobless by the Govt with its immature decision. Meanwhile, the Provincial President Jammu Youth Wing, Vipul Bali said that the Govt should have a policy for the engagement of unemployed youth for which they must release a package.
