SRINAGAR, May 24: A 23 year-old motorcyclist was killed in a road accident in Sangam while an unidentified body was recovered from Vishow Nallah in south Kashmir on Tuesday. Sources said the motorcyclist, Yasir Ahmad Dar a resident of Naina Batpora, Pulwama was critically injured when he lost control over his bike and dashed it against the road divider and then had a head on collision with another vehicle.
The accident took place at Tulkhan crossing in Sangam area of Bijbehara in south Kashmir.
He was immediately shifted to Sub District Hospital (SDH) Bijbehara for treatment, where he succumbed to his injuries.
Meanwhile, an unidentified body of a male was recovered from Vishow Nallah in Damhal Hanjipora area of south Kashmir's Kulgam district today.
Police has taken away the body for identification and medical examination. |
