Govt Acting Tough
6/10/2022 11:23:57 PM

Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha, recently stated that the terrorists and their cross-border supporters are using new methods of terrorism in Jammu and Kashmir to disrupt peace in the region.
During the past few months, terrorists have changed their strategy and are choosing the soft targets to make their presence felt. They are creating fear among the minorities and attempts are being made to recreate a 1990s like situation. But the security forces are determined to foil the exodus plan scripted across the Line of Control (LoC).
The young boys in Kashmir are being radicalized and lured to join the terrorist groups. They are being brainwashed to kill the innocents. Pakistan is not mending its ways and somehow wants to keep the pot boiling.
However, the government has cracked a whip on terrorists and their supporters. They are not being allowed to raise their heads.
A massive crackdown on terrorist supporters has exposed many faces.
The illegal funding channels have been choked and the entire eco-system of terrorism has been hit hard to end the 3-decade long proxy war being fought in J&K by Pakistan.
The security forces have been given clear cut instructions that the ones who harbour and support the terrorists should be treated at par with the terrorist and dealt with them accordingly.
Families of innocents, who have been killed in Kashmir by the terrorists in the recent months, are being provided with all possible support. The NoKs of victims are not being left in lurch.
The security agencies are maintaining a tight vigil and are even advising common people, especially the members of the minority communities to remain alert.
The colonies in which members of minority communities are putting up have been secured to ensure that no one sneaks in. Enough steps are being taken to thwart the plans of the terror bosses sitting across the LoC.
The situation is not like the 1990s and the government led by Prime Minister Narendra Modi seems determined to hold its ground in Kashmir. A strong leadership at the Centre is making most of the people believe across the country that the terrorism will be wiped out from J&K and within a few months the Union Territory will be a terror free zone.
