2 day training programme held on Karmayogi Police persons | | | Early Times Report UDHAMPUR, June 17: Two days training programme on "Karmayogi Police- custodians of society" commenced in the Sher-i-Kashmir Police Academy Udhampur today. Mission Karmayogi is the National Programme conceived by the Prime Minister of India for Civil Services Capacity Building which aims to create a competent civil service rooted in Indian ethos, with a shared understanding of India's priorities, working in harmonisation for effective and efficient public service delivery. The idea behind the scheme is to bring about a change in attitude and skill set of government employees. This is the 3rd such course held in the Academy. The training progremme was inaugurated and coordinated by Master trainer Sh. Suraj Singh, Dy.SP, Asstt. Director (Trg/R&D) SKPA. 29 officers/officials of J&K Police are to be trained in eight module as per the workbook provided by the Capacity Building Commission. Sh. Suraj Singh, Master trainer has laid emphasis that this course will go a long way in shaping the career of the participants in the perspective of positive attitude and to inculcate 'Seva Bhav' in dealing with general public. He also advised participants to carry forward the spirit of feeling young in the subsequent stages of their career. The more we become Karmayogi Policepersons, the more our Seva Shakti will manifest itself, the more positive impact we can make on society. |
