Early Times Report
JAMMU, June 17: Shiv Sena J&K unit today slammed the BJP led Government at the Centre for playing with the future of youth of the country by introducing schemes like Agniveer , seeking its immediate withdrawal.
In a press conference organized at the party's state office, Jammu, the state chief Manish Sahni said that the definition of democracy in the country has changed after the BJP came to power. The opposition is not even consulted the important issues like implementation of GST, Kisan Bill, abrogation of Article 370 etc.
The Agniveer scheme brought by the Central Government for recruitment in the forces , due to which there is a anger among the youth across the country.
Sahni said that the youth of Jammu and Kashmir is also very angry against this Agniveer scheme. The candidates of the armed forces, who have been waiting for the written examination for the last two years, are confused after this plan, and they are protesting on the streets.
Sahni said that this plan of the central government will also raise question marks on the capability and credibility of the armed forces.
Sahni said that if we talk about Jammu division , the crops in the fields of Kandi or hilly areas may be less, but the crops of those who die and sacrifice for the country by joining the military and security forces are flourishing. In such a situation, there has definitely been a situation of uncertainty among the people.
Sahni urges Prime Minister Narendra Modi to withdrawn Agniveer immediately. On this occasion president mehila wing Meenakshi Chhibber, General Secretary Vikas Bakshi, Chairman Rakesh Gupta, Vice President Balwant Singh, President Kamghar Wing Raj Singh, Rajesh Handa, Mangu Ram, Shashipal were present.
