Government Polytechnic Kathua organised a seminar on Career Counseling

JAMMU, June 17: Career Counselling Cell of Government Polytechnic Kathua in collaboration with UP Classes Gurgaon today organised a Career Counselling seminar for students of the college. Er. Arun Bangotra, Principal of the college was the chief guest on the occasion. The proceedings of the programme were initiated by Er. Jasdeep Kaur, Lecturer, I&C. She welcomed the chief guest and the resource persons from UP Classes Gurgaon. While addressing the seminar, the chief guest encouraged and motivated the students for participating in such programmes to get awareness about various career opportunities after a diploma in Engineering. He also congratulated the Career Counselling Cell of the college for organizing the event and encouraged them to organize such more events in near future also and advised the students to attend such Career oriented Lectures thereby keeping them abreast of the ever-changing job market scenario available to the graduates. The session was conducted by the founder and co-founder of UP Classes, Ayushi Banotra and Himanshu Sumbria and their team. Ayushi Banotra, owes international working experiences with MBA from France and Himanshu Sumbria owes an MBA degree from IIM Calcutta. The session was highly interactive and both the keynote speakers encouraged students to think and act on the theme - What next for myself and the true guide to it. More than 150 students participated in the programme. In the end, the formal vote of thanks was given by Er. Anshul Mahajan, Lecturer (Incharge TPO) and member career counselling cell. Er. Vishal Sharma, Demonstrator, Mechanical Engg., Er. Ravi Kumar, Er Munish Sharma, Neeru Devi, Rajesh Kumar, Shamsher Chand was among the other members of the committee present on the occasion.
