DODA, June 24: Forest Division Doda today Celebrated 131st foundation day of the Forest Department by organizing a function here on the Forest Complex Chenab Circle.
The employees planted trees and spoke on the importance, role and responsibilities of the department.
It was given out that the aim of the department was to ensure ecological security, sustainable management of forests, meeting the bonafide needs of forest dependent communities including tribal population, sustainable utilisation of forest produce for creating livelihood opportunities, climate change mitigation & biodiversity conservation. |
