| BJP Kissan Morcha pay tributes to Dr Mukherjee, organises free medical camp | | | Early Times Report
JAMMU, July 6: J&K BJP Kissan Morcha representatives under the presidentship of Omi Khajuria today organized various programmes to pay tributes to Dr Shyama Parsad Mukherjee. Ex MLA and senior BJP leader Shiv Dev Singh besides Corporator Surinder Sharma and other BJP Kissan Morcha members were present on the occasion. While paying tributes to Dr Shyama Parsad Mukherjee, Shiv Dev Singh said Dr Mukherjee was a source of inspiration who sacrificed his life to save the crown of India, Kashmir. It was he who first gave the slogan of one country, one legislation, one flag, Shiv Dev added. "Dr. Shyama Prasad Mukherjee was born on 6thJuly, 1901 in an aristocratic family. He had inherited all the qualities of greatness. Dr Shyama Prasad Mukherjee participated in politics from 1939 and remained engaged in it for life. He started efforts for complete unification of Kashmir with India. For this, he started a movement together with the Praja Parishad Party of Jammu. Today, we all bow down to him and take a pledge to follow the path shown by him, which will be a true tribute to him," Shiv Dev said. "Itis a matter of pride for the country that the vision of Dr Mukherjee was materialised by Prime Minister Narendra Modi by removing Article 370 and 35A in Jammu and Kashmir and accorded it to the main stream of development," he added. |
