JAMMU, July 6: Airports Authority of India in association with CISF, Red Cross Society, Jammu, organized a voluntary blood donation camp here today at Jammu airport.The blood donation camp was inaugurated by Airport Director Sanjeev Kumar Garg.A total of 39 units of blood were donated by Staff of AAI, CISF,Indigo,Air India, Department of post.
On this occasion, Airport Director encouraged the donors for participating in the noble cause and asked donors that their spirit of service to humanity was remarkable.
A Team of PG Department of blood transfusion medicine GMC Jammu led by Dr. Salve Sharma, Registrar also appreciated the blood donation activity at Jammu airport. Blood donation camp was also graced by Satpal Sharma, Hony. Secretery, Red Cross society Jammu and D.S. Daniel Dhanaraj, Commandent CISF Jammu Airport.
