Dogri Sanstha, organizes Kahani Goshthi | | | Early Times Report JAMMU, July 10: Dogri Sanstha Jammu organized a multi lingual online Kahani Goshthi in which prominent Dogri, Hindi and Punjabi writers read their short stories. Dr. Adarsh Prakash, a well-known Hindi short story writer hailing from Udhampur read his critically acclaimed Hindi short story 'Jo Chad Gaye Punyavedi Par' revolving around Kargil war and the heroism of Indian Army. Dr. Baljit Singh Raina, an eminent Punjabi writer and media person impressed with his Punjabi short story 'RISH' revolving around the love which is everlasting whereas Prof. Lalit Magotra, a prolific Dogri and Hindi writer enamored the listeners with his much acclaimed short story 'SANJH' revolving around the burning problems being faced by the parents whose children have moved out to abroad to make their fortunes. The program was presided over by Prof. Veena Gupta, prolific Dogri writer and Vice President Dogri Sanstha Jammu. In her presidential address, she gave a detailed analysis of the stories and said that all the three stories although belong to different languages but are very rich as far as literature is concerned. The writers who read their stories are well known in their respective creative field of literature and such programs will surely help in inspiring the new writers to pen down meaningful short stories. The program was conducted by well-known Dogri writer Jagdeep Dubey and Rajeshwar Singh 'Raju', General Secretary of Dogri Sanstha Jammu presented vote of thanks and assured that such events will be a continuous effort of Sanstha to get connected with more and more literature lovers. Technical support was given by eminent theatre activist Pawan verma for smooth conduct of program. The program was watched by thousands throughout India and abroad through Facebook page of Dogri Sanstha Jammu. |
