Early Times Report JAMMU, July 12: For every human being, Education is important to live an enriched life. Unfortunately, not everyone gets the privilege of good education early from their childhood. Mostly, financial disparities play a crucial role behind it. But, the situation can be improved. There are several ways to educate poor children and bring a positive change in our society. In an attempt to bring this positive change, On 12 July 22, Live For Others - Being Helpful Foundation (NGO) in continuation of their Project - Make All Kids Educated under theme "Mission MAKE" in a slum at Talab Tillo, Jammu. The same project in also going on from Last five months at Birma Pull, Udhampur. Volunteers of LFO-BHF committed in providing basic education to less fortunate ones. LFO-BHF in Jammu provided 50 bananas, 50 biscuits, 200 masks & 100 sanitizer among the children and other people. Counselling of these children and their parents was the main objective for today's project. During counselling of the children and their parents, many of them raised several issues and needs and LFO-BHF assured them with every possible help and assistance. Many children and their parents showed major concern regarding their education and studies but due to some unavoidable circumstances they failed to continue their studies and hence, entire LFO-BHF team is committed in providing every single possible help to underprivileged people.LFO-BHF focuses on poor child education, believes that whether you are addressing healthcare, poverty, population control, unemployment or human rights, there is no better place to start than in the corridors of education. On speaking with Mr. Shubham Verma, President LFO-BHF (Jammu Province) said, "Our NGO is commited for education for underprivileged children who are under difficult circumstances, such as child labour, children of poorest of the parents, street and runaway children, children with rare disabilities, disaster struck children and slum children. Special emphasis is given on girl education land women education, so that they and their families get empowered". On speaking with Abhinandan Sharma, General Secretary National body of LFO-BHF said, "Our vision is to work as a catalyst in bringing sustainable change in the lives of underprivileged children with a life-cycle approach to development". Other Volunteers present there were Jyoti, Stuti, Samar, Navya, Aman, Sourav, Kamakshi, Abhishek, Kalpana and many more. |
