ACS releases e-book, handbook of I&C | | | Early Times Report JAMMU, July 12: Additional Chief Secretary (ACS), Industries & Commerce, Vivek Bhardwaj today launched e-book of District Industries Centre (DIC), Jammu and also released Second Edition of Handbook of Department of Industries & Commerce, at Udyog Bhawan here. Director Industries & Commerce (I&C), Jammu, Anoo Malhotra; Joint Director, Development I&C, Ved Prakash; CAO, I&C, Riyaz Hussian, General Manager, DIC, Jammu, Subah Mehta, Functional Managers, Industrial Promotion Officers and other concerned officials were also present on the occasion. Speaking on the occasion, the ACS said that the handbook as well as e-book will play a vital role in facilitating the aspiring youth and budding entrepreneurs while executing their plans for establishing any business unit. He added that the handbook and e-book contains all the necessary information regarding policies and different schemes for the budding entrepreneurs and will act as a outreach step for investment in Industrial sector of J&K. The ACS also applauded Director I&C Jammu and her team for their stupendous efforts in compiling these books. The Handbook released on the occasion contains all the details of Manufacturing/ Service sector. Besides this, it also contains the Policies of Government of India as well J&K UT regarding Industrial Sector for awareness amongst the budding Entrepreneurs/ Existing Industrial Enterprises. The Edition has been updated with all the Government Orders/ Circulars/ Orders/ Procedural Guidelines of MSME sector (Manufacturing/ Service) which will be a guiding factor for all users. Similarly, the e-book has details of services provided by theDIC, Jammu and will be of great help to the budding as well as existing Entrepreneurs. It also contains activities such as Success Stories of MSME/ PMEGP Units in district Jammu, Check list/ Procedure for availing services and incentives under different schemes, details of Prime Minister's Employment Generation Programme, Udyam, GeM, TReDS Registrations, among others. |
