Jammu, July 13: NSS Govt. Gandhi Memorial Science College organized an awareness program Shikshit Bharat under the patronage of worthy Principal Dr. Ravender Tickoo and guidance of NSS PO Dr. Deepali Mahajan distributed school books in slum from class nursery to class 10th. Educating children saves lives and builds stronger families, communities and economies. Empowered, educated kids have healthier, better-educated children and higher wages –helping to break the cycle of poverty.
Educate them to empower them. The right to education is a human right and indispensable for the exercise of other human rights. It is one of the most powerful tools in lifting socially excluded children and adults out of poverty and into society. |
